David has been a partner in RHK since 1977 after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1972.
In addition to his role within the firm, he devotes much of his time to servicing an active client portfolio which contains an interesting variety of owner-managed firms in an extensive range of sectors. Over the years he has amassed an in-depth amount of experience and his preferred choice of work is the challenge offered by transactional matters, both small and large.
He is an active member of the North East Chamber of Commerce and is particularly involved in those areas relating to the Newcastle Gateshead Initiative as well as supporting the interests of the business community generally.
David is a member of the ICAEW Solicitors Group, which dovetails with his professional work in that area, together with his responsibilities for the firm’s regulatory compliance.
Outside interests are mainly sports orientated with a special affection for motor sports such as Newcastle Speedway.
